Homeschool Sessions: "Food of the Gods: Chocolate in Mesoamerica"

This March, The Hershey Story Museum is taking students on a delicious journey through chocolate history, uncovering the origins of chocolate and its significance in Mesoamerican cultures. Kids will learn how the ancient Maya and Aztecs valued cacao beans as currency, solve a hieroglyph puzzle, and even sample an authentic Maya chocolate drink! As a sweet finale, participants will create a Mesoamerican-inspired chocolate treat to take home.

Each homeschool session includes museum admission, a scavenger hunt, and hands-on activities tailored for elementary and middle school students (ideal for 2nd through 8th grade but open to all ages).
